The brand name is "Etude House".

 

The name of the brand was inspired by the wonderful creations of the Polish composer Frederic Chopin. One of the best works of Chopin are "Etudes". Among them are those that are distinguished by freshness and lightness, but there are also dramatic works. This music inspired the founders of Etude to create a beautiful and kind cosmetic brand, thanks to which young girls could emphasize their freshness and prolong their youth.

 

Initially, Etude House was simply called Etude, like a series of works by the great composer, even the diacritic mark was retained (a dash above the “E”). But over time, the brand expanded, changed its structure, and now we all know it as "Etude House".

 

Concept and slogan "Etude House".

 

Speaking about the concept, Etude believes that make-up should be enjoyable, like a game, and cannot be associated with everyday routine. Therefore, all Etude products meet four main requirements: the highest quality, affordability, attractive design and an impressive range of options.


The Etude House slogan first appeared in 2006, right after the rebranding. Initially, it sounded like "Sweet Imagine", which means "Sweet Imagination". This slogan fully personified the brand at that time. All products were made in shades of white chocolate and cotton candy. The lids were decorated with monograms, and the shops themselves looked more like the palace of a fairy-tale princess than a cosmetics store.

For almost 30 years of its existence, the company has received many awards in completely different areas: for the best packaging, for its contribution to the country's economy, as well as for helping wildlife. Since 2010, Etude House has been actively involved in the development of the "wildlife protection fund" and helps save rare species of animals on our planet.

 

This move received a lot of positive feedback from both customers and other firms. The implementation of the project deserves attention. Every six months, Etude releases a limited edition of hand and lip care with certain "Missing U" characters. Initially, these were 4 cute animals, later bees appeared and, at the end of 2012, a line with owls started. All packaging is made from 100% recyclable materials and printed with soy ink, making the product itself almost environmentally friendly. Also, the content of the jars itself does not contain parabens, dyes, talc and other substances harmful to the body. Part of the proceeds from the sale of each product goes to the “wildlife protection fund”, where funds are distributed and measures are taken to save rare animals.
